Kitchener city council has given its approval for a new $93-million recreation facility at the city’s RBJ Schlegel Park. The project is to include a 65,000-square-foot field house with artificial turf and a 45,000-square foot aquatics centre with an eight-lane pool and a warm-water leisure pool.
